COMMENTS: News accounts identified the object as a hot air
balloon. Wind was from 180 deg. at 6 knots.
The observer sighted an object that was egg shaped, slightly |
creamish and transparent, and was estimated to have been
50 ft long, 20 ft wide, 20 ft high, and at about 50 to 75 ft |
altitude. The object traveled toward the north, rapidly {
gaining altitude and disappeared.
