Observer noted ob ject redder than the sun that looked like
fire rather than a "sun pall," Object was viewed through
clouds. Object larger than comet particularly when it
| exploded. Observer was looking westward (telephone conver- =

| not set yet. The sun rays were more than likely viewed |
the clouds. |
